Eligibility: A pass in B.Sc. (Any Life science Discipline)
A master’s degree in the field of Biochemistry furthers the study of chemical processes that relate to living organisms, and is a diverse and fascinating discipline. Studies consist of learning more about the chemical reactions and combinations that take place in the body for metabolism, growth, heredity, production, and more.
Working towards a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry will not only expand scientific understanding and terminology, but it will also help in other areas. Students will develop problem solving skills, analytical thinking, and be able to handle vast amounts of complex information. These skills will help gain employment in a variety of career fields.
Industrial applications of enzymes in non-conventional systems: Cell and enzymes in organic solvent and immobilization techniques in microemulsions. Biosynthesis of fine chemicals and polymers using esterase and lipase
The students have developed practical and technical skills through laboratory-based work and the final year research project. This all to prepare them for a research or a technical position. After graduating, the students can improve their chances by obtaining some relevant work experience.
