The Laboratory of Biochemistry is recognized under DBT Star Scheme and well equipped for the students to grow in their practical skills in Biochemical analysis. The laboratory paves the way to learn with sophisticated instruments like UV Visible Spectrophotometer, Orbital shaker, incubator, colorimeter, Soxhlet apparatus, and centrifuge. Biochemical diagnostic tests analyze the clinical factors in various diseases. The laboratory enhances research skills and stimulates the students to take up mini-projects for society-based biological challenges. It facilitates the interdisciplinary approach in which the methods of biochemistry, plant biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, nanotechnology, Clinical Research, Clinical Data Analytics, and Pharmacognosy were used in interactive and collaborative research to solve problems of fundamental importance

The PG Biochemistry laboratory has well-equipped instruments; the students gain knowledge on innovative practical skills in Biochemical analysis. The laboratory is furnished to learning advanced instruments, Chromatography, UV visible spectrophotometer, soxhlet apparatus, Tissue culture chamber, Laminar air flow chamber, trans illuminator, and electrophoresis units both horizontal and vertical. Central research laboratory recognized under DST - FIST is equipped with advanced instruments like FTIR, HPLC, NMR & Bioinformatics tools for research in the industrial, pharmacological fields.
