  • Course Breakup
    I Year:
    Students acquire the Fundamentals of Microbiology and its Diversity along with allied Biochemistry papers. Laboratory skills are encouraged with relevant practical topics to follow safety measures, prepare of growth media, isolation & identification of microbial population. The theoretical knowledge along with practical skills will make the learners technically sound in the core area.
    II Year:
    The third and fourth semesters transact with Environmental Microbiology, Microbial Biochemistry & Physiology and Bioinstrumentation. A common complementary paper “Cell Biology” has been incorporated to understand the mechanism of living cells and their vulnerability in microbial infections.
    III Year:
    Comprehensive core papers comprising Immunology, Molecular Biology & Microbial Genetics, Genetic Engineering, Medical Microbiology, Food & Dairy Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology have been included in the final year to facilitate over all exposure of learners in Microbiology to acquire a spectacular knowledge in the core area.
