ABOUT THE COURSES
Master of Commerce with international business a postgraduate academic degree which is awarded after successful completion of a two years program. The course enriches the students with corporate skills with holistic approach. M.Com (IB) gives a strong foundation in all the basic areas of International Business. The students are team aligned into areas of marketing, finance, logistics, foreign exchange, foreign trade procedures etc., with special emphasis on International Business perspective.

The objective of the course is to develop skills & knowledge in foreign trade, foreign exchange, logistics management and related areas so as to create career opportunities in export import operations.
The program aims at training and developing the candidates capable of holdings managerial positions in the field of International Trade and Business.

The curriculum follows an evolutionary pattern.
The course content in the initial stages deals with the fundamentals of foreign trade and the basic concepts of major management disciplines.
The subsequent course contents give enough scope for students to have a tryst with the practical and technical aspects of International Marketing, International Trade, Foreign Exchange, Logistics Management, Exports, Imports, Strategic Management, Global Financial Management, International Business Relations, Foreign Trade Legislations, Brand Management, Merchandising, Research, etc.

As an innovative idea, the department has put up a STUDENTS’ CORNER and a drop in box. A QUESTION OF THE WEEK is displayed every Monday on the notice board for which the students could drop in their answers. Those who come up with the correct answer are given a prize.
