M.Com. (CA) is a high profile post graduate program aimed to create enhanced competence of career positioning tied up with opportunity to become a global accounting and management professional. ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
Candidates seeking admission to the first year Degree course (M.Com.CA) shall be required to have passed a) B.Com. / B.Com (CA) (or) b) any other degree with one paper in Accountancy.
DURATION OF THE COURSE
The course shall extend over a period of two academic years consisting of four semesters. Each academic year will be divided into two semesters. The First semester will consist of the period from July to November and the Second semester from December to March.
I year:In the first year, the students are enabled to specialize in the area of Accounting. They also learn e-commerce, managerial economics, executive communication and investment management. Guest lectures are arranged for their knowledge updation.
II year:In the second year, the students are enabled to acquaint themselves with the knowledge of direct taxes, indirect taxes, financial management and human resources management. They also undertake a project work related to commerce under the Supervision of individual staff members. The entire course is designed to acquire the knowledge in the field of Accountancy and other related accounting fields.
