The School consists of
Commerce (B.Com, B. Com (Professional Accounting)),
Commerce with Computer Studies (B.Com(CA) & B.Com(IT)),
PG Commerce (M.Com, M.Com (International Business), M. Com (Professional Accounting)),
Reserach Programs M.Phil (PT & FT) and Ph.D. (PT & FT) under its roof.
The objective of the School is not only to provide quality academics, but also to give importance to their career.
Commerce course imparts knowledge on ideas of buying and selling of goods, provision of services available, information on production and property, and much more related domains.
Training in Computer Application and Software Technology in the field of Commerce provides an extra mileage in placements, thereby enabling the budding graduates to pursue further careers in either of the two fast growing areas Viz., IT Industry, Commerce and financial sector. The companies which employ Commerce graduates with Computer Studies are Wipro, IBM, Infosys, Siemens, Dell India, etc.
The degree can help establish a career in finance, taxation, operations, etc., depending on the course specification.
There are more than 50 specializations available in India.
Accounting and Finance

Some of the subjects studied here include financial accounting, cost accounting, auditing, taxation, business law, economics, business communication, etc.
Specializing in accounting and finance trains students who look forward to pursuing a career in banks, insurance companies and industries.
Auditing

Subjects studied under this specialization are advanced financial accountancy, auditing, financial markets, corporate financial policy, financial service, etc.
For those who want to find a career as a Certified Public Accountant, Finance Manager or Chief Financial Officer, majoring in the field of Auditing is a good idea.
Taxation

Subjects studied under the specialization of taxation include financial accounting, economics, business mathematics and statistics, direct and indirect taxation, public finance and taxation, and more.
This course prepares students for a career as a business tax consultant or a property tax consultant. Other job roles include Manager of Accounts and Direct Taxation, Manager of Employment Taxation, Manager of Corporate Taxation and others.
Banking and Insurance

The course subjects include life insurance, legal framework, non-life insurance, etc.
Majoring in banking and insurance will enable a student to be well equipped to follow a career in one of these two growing fields.
This course has been introduced as a special course to train students towards enlarging the scope of the banking and insurance sectors in accommodating competent people in their workforce.
