  • Course Overview
    The PG programme strives continuously to develop in frontline research at the frontiers of modern biology via Molecular genetics, Marine biochemistry, Pharmaceutical biochemistry, Immunology, Enzymology and Clinical biochemistry, and is engaged in instrumentation skills and statistical analysis via Excel Macros and SAS, biological software via Bioinformatics, Industrial Biochemistry, and Nanotechnology and Cancer biology.
    Overview of the anabolism and catabolism of metabolites in the human system

    I Year:
    Students have exposure to:
    All areas of modern biology such as Stem cells and cancer biology, Molecular biology, Genetic engineering, Immunology
    Technical skills required in research institutions and leading industries through the papers Research techniques, Industrial biochemistry and Advanced enzyme technology which will enable them to have a technically sound foundation;
    Plant Tissue Culture and Animal Tissue Culture, Assay of enzymes and analysing metabolites
    Animation and Photoshop practicals.
    II Year:
    Comprehensively orchestrates:
    Software oriented broad areas with considerable application potential through SAS, Bioinformatics, Clinical research, Advanced Clinical Biochemistry,
    Biostatistics and Research methodology;
    Exemplary research knowledge through minor research project and major research projects
    Employability skills, analytics students to develop their interview skills, analytical thinking and critical reasoning ability.
